Punjab Engineering College

PEC University of Technology had its roots in Lahore as Mugalpura Engineering College since 1921. The University moved to its present campus in 1953 as PEC affiliated to Panjab University. It has been conferred the Deemed University status in 2004. The college was earlier affiliated to the Panjab University, Chandigarh. PEC University of Technology is a Grant-in-Aid institution under administration of Union Territory of Chandigarh, Government of India. The institute has a 146 acres sprawling and pious campus and is house of Chandigarh College of Architecture also. The academic and administrative processes are similar to IITs in the country. The candidates will be admitted to various Undergraduate programmes of Punjab Engineering College through JoSAA/CSAB 2018. The foreign candidates will be selected through Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) 2018. Few candidates will also be selected through Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) 2018. M.Tech: All eligible candidates will be selected through their valid GATE score. The non-Gate candidates are required to sit for an entrance test conducted by the university.
